Last night, I watched a TV program about the secret of ancient tombs. It seems that ancient people had their own imagination about afterlife, therefore they put funerary objects to make sure to have life just as when they were alive.

Do you believe in afterlife?? What's your imagination about it?

Yes, I sometimes suspect where our perished body and soul go? Maybe in some other forms, they still exist.

Before going on this subject " believe in afterlife"

Decide " Believe in Religion or not"?

Don't Believe in Religion-- no after life.

Believe in Religion- follow your religion. Every religion have details on it.

LP, exactly!! But maybe we need to remember that people in China have come through an era without much conventional religion, many individuals are now exploring this for themselves. So the afterlife is one of the issues they must consider in deciding if they will follow a religion.

I have a rhetorical question. Most religions say that there is a better afterlife (at least for people who have led good lives) - so why are so many believers including the religious leaders so afraid of dying ??

“Why are so many believers including the religious leaders so afraid of dying??” Paul

I guess they have no adequate knowledge about afterlife.

Who have proper knowledge about afterlife, he have no fear of death ~~ not tell more.
Because if a man unknown about simple Math, how I teach him calculus.

Every religion has a guide line about death and it is a door of another universe.

Follow any religion, so many principles to follow, but the new age people in China have no religion and not need to follow so many principles.

So it is very difficult to turn them to follow the religion.

It's better to be fifteen minutes to late in this life,
than to be fifteen minutes to early in next life! :-)

HI Ellen,
I believe in afterlife.
It's simple if you believe and follow to turn you life in to light.

Janfrisk, what a philosophic phrase!!

In my view, afterlife is indeed exist! Just as ellen said, our soul will go to anothere world and exist in another form that we alive can not feel. I have heard that there was once a test. At the very time one breathe his last, he will weigh a little less heavy instantly! So what he has lost? Maybe his soul!!

ha ha ha APAULT... that is a good comment. Life seems like a dream. Maybe we're all in something like the Truman Show.
