Well, I don't think it is according to the religeon. No connection with the Islam.

I guess people adopted other religion but their cultural dress did not changed.
And they traveled, may be setelled neighboring areas with same cultural dress.
Your models dress almost same as Muslim ladies in Pakistan and India.
Our local ladies generally did not wear this type of dress. They wears a type of dress called "Sharee" she may be Muslim, Hindu, Christian or Buddish. Almost same dress who follows our language.
