![]() | Usually, I find most of the people who do exercises early in the morning are elder citizens. Not many young people do sports persistently, except those who want to lose weight. By contrast, many young people often mistreat their health by playing video games on the internet from dawn until dark, or spending a whole night in the KTV bar. It seems that people who are losing health care more about their health condition. Here, I have a persuasion to those young men—spend more time doing sports and form a healthy lifestyle! |

![]() | Thank for your kind and considerate suggestion. I havn't realized that I have been lazy for numerous morning and night unitll you remind us. It becomes warmer and warmer in China, and makes people sleepy those days. Maybe do some sports will be effective. Come on! |

![]() | I play football and do a little athletics with my students - sometimes, but who wants to go out in tempratures of -10C or worse (hey that's a good excuse for not exercising for half the year:) ) In China I take more exercise than in Australia simply because I don't have a car in China. Instead I have a bicycle...and if anyone wants to cycle past me I go faster! I have to prove to myself that despite my years (and fondness for beer) that I am still as fit as I was 30 years ago. Of course I am not - and if you see me lying in the gutter please stop and start pumping my heart!! Traditionally, the elderly are revered in China, but I'll stay unrevered, and fit, thanks. |

![]() | I think for most elderly people, it is better to do some mental sports (brainwork) than do physical ones. Playing chess, reading books, writing are all good mental exercise. |
