"I heard that Chinese government enacted a law recently to restrain the free usage of electrical map offered by Google,Sohu,Yahoo...
Only when those websites get the permission of the government, can they publish maps to public.
So,we may not get electrical maps freely as we did now."

A little bit non-sense. We will unable to use them, but, for example Russians, North Americans, Indians and Turkish will be able to use them?! I really don't think that is a good idea. IS IT TRUE THAT THE FOREIGNERS WILL BE ABLE TO KNOW CHINA BETTER THAN CHINESE?! As you know, guys, the geographical knowledge of the Chinese population is so low. Some people even don't know what is Bhutan, where is Tacheng or which city is the provincial capital of Shangdong! These maps at least help Chinese netizens to get some knowledge about THEIR OWN country.
Btw, USA already start to protect their military objects of this maps and this is reasonable. So I think it is a good idea about China as well, but to stop it for Chinese and do not stop for foreigners is an absurd!
