| Yes Lion! Chinese Hui People also hold this festival to commemorate the birth and death day of Prophet Muhammad every year! On that day, the Muslems will gather in the Mosque to recite Koran, tell or listen to the story of Muhammad. Then they will have a grand dinner together! | Thanks Evening, western China people like Uygur observe the day. What about the other part of China. From where you get this pic? Internet? Hi Candy, Prophet Hazrat Muhammad ( Peace be up on him) birth and death same day on coming Monday. He was born in 570 English era about 1428 years ago. Muslims all over the world celebrate this day as happiness of human. I asked about Chinese people (Muslems) . |

| Hi Lion, People of Chinese Hui Ethnic groups all observe the day! They are all Muslems! Hui Peolple mostly assemble in Ningxia Province. Other places include Gansu, Qinghai, Henan, Hebei and Yunnan. I got the pic from the internet. But I really wish I have the chance to witness the celebration. : ) |

| No, evening, not every Hui people are Muslem. Most of them are. Some are not. Most of Uigur are Muslem, too. |
