![]() | I believe it is just vapour forming in the rapidly de-pressurised air, if so it is just an indication of the extreme nature of the airplane's handling manouvre. The vapour formed is not intended to serve any military purpose that I am aware of. I have seen several displays of this, and similar, aircraft, and often seen this kind of vapour trail formation from the leading edges of wings during hi-g turns, but I have never seen it as all-enveloping as shown in the first two photos. Maybe the weather conditions on the day of the display were very special, and enhanced the effect. |
