APAULT Points: Join Date: Mar 11, 2006 Status: Offline	I will add weight to what Evening says. You should visit Yangmei ancient village, it is a 90 minute bus ride from Nanning. If you catch an early bus (about 7am I think it starts) you can just about do it in one day, but the last bus back is early, maybe mid afternoon. You can catch the bus from just west of the railway station, from a small bus station. There are also tourist bus trips with guides but I have no info about them. Entry to Yangmei is free. If you have time the DaTien waterfall is great, but it is at least 3 hours to the west. Entrance 100rmb. I was wondering California, with so much travel will you actually have time to get off the train??? hehe

And Paul,Yangmei ancient village is worth to visit,thanks!I love to visit some ancient towns,really nice!Yes,I think it's a relax trip,coz' I have 15 days! By the way,does anyone knows Weizhou and Xieyang Islands???

Hi,guys,I just made a route right now:

D1:Beijing to Guilin,arrive in Guilin in the next afternoon;

D2:The downtown of Guilin a half day,like Xiangya Mt,Diecai Mt,and Two rivers Four lakes in the night;

D3:From Guilin to Yangdi,and then walk through Li River,arrive in Xingping,to Yangshuo.Watch <Liu San Jie> in the night,and bars.

D4:Ride in Yangshuo,Yulonghe,Darong Shu and Moon Mt.

D5:Longshen Steps field.

D6:Return Guilin,to the old town Daxu,then to Nanning.

D7:Detian Waterfall;

D8:Yangmei Town,to Fangchenggang or Dongxing;

D9:Visit three minority Jing Islands,to Beihai.

D10:Weizhou Island;

D11:Yin Beach,then to Guangzhou or Shenzhen to visit friends.

Is it reasonable???
