The Sixth Large-Scale Speed-up of China Railway will be launched on April 18th. It is estimated that the capacity of passenger transport and goods transport will increase by 18% and 12%. The trains on Beijing-Harbin, Beijing-Shanghai, Beijing-Guangzhou and other main routs will increase their speed to 200-250 kilometers per hour. The time cost will be decreased greatly. For example, passengers from Shantou to Wuchang can save 2 hours. Good news, isn't it?

This is good news for us as we are hoping to travel from Hong Kong to Beijing by train - wonder how much less time it will take now? I think initially it was 24 hours!

Yes, I have also heard the news. It is said that Wuhan-Guangzhou Railway will be extended to Hongkong in the south and Beijing in the north, which will greatly speed up the travel.
