Depending on traffic conditions, I would allow about 1.5 hours for airport shuttle, around perhaps 1 hour by taxi.

GUESTJOSEPHBB Hi there,

Great forum, full of brilliant advise and helpful people!!

I have a question:

How difficult is to find your way to the bus station from Pudong airport to take the bus to Ningbo? Also, what bus(es) should I take?

Thanks

Erm... it's really not easy to give a definitive answer. I would say it's probably not as easy as you hope it'd be, but easier than what you think it'd be like.

There's no direct bus from Pudong airport to Ningbo. Please refer to my answer on page 1 of this post, dated 28/11 last year.

Yes, there're flights from Hongqiao airport but not Pudong airport. That might be the most comfortable way apart from hiring a vehicle and driver. If that's too expensive for you then go by bus. Train would be the last choice.

No, the train doesn't use the Hangzhou Bay bridge.
Train takes 3.5-5 hours depending on which departure you take, fare 51 RMB each way for hard seat.
Bus takes 2.5 hours and costs 99 RMB each way.
