Tourism of Three-Gorges Dam will be promoted in the next half year

JIMMYB Points: Join Date: Feb 7, 2007 Status: offline	Several days before, municipal government of Chongqing announced in the Three-gorges Dam International Tourist Festival that one billion RMB would be allocated to the tourism of Three-gorges Dam. Some major attractions will be restored and repaired. Besides, infrastructures of the scenic spots will also be reconstructed. Hope to admire the landscapes of Three-gorges Dam one day!

BETHANYBETHANY Points: Join Date: Aug 9, 2006 Status: Offline	I hate this sort of restorations and reparations! Too many ancient sites take on very new and modern look. Feelings changed. More money should be spent on the improvement of infrastructures.

JABAROOTOO Points: Join Date: Jul 4, 2005 Status: Offline	Many of these places badly need restoration without adding all the extra tourist glitter which is what really spoils them. Why all the financial outlay? Are the Three Gorges loosing some of thier appeal???? Some of the best attractions are being overlooked while some of the worst attactions are suffering overkill Perhaps this is not such a bad scenario!
