A set of rosewood furniture costs 68,000,000 RMB=A Rolls-Royce+ A Lamborghini+ A Ferrari+ Two private planes!!
On the International Exhibition of Luxury Goods held in Wenzhou China, the most expensive item of those luxury goods was the rosewood furniture with its striking price. These days, the consumption of luxury goods has become a hot trend in China.
Only 3 days' exhibition attracted transactions nearly one billion RMB. Curious people may ask that who are the buyers of these goods. Workers of the exhibition said that most of these buyers were Wenzhou local entrepreneurs whose age ranging from 35 to 45 years old. They are so-called 'invisible plutes'.
An up-to-date report from an accounting firm showes that China is becoming the 3rd largest consumer of luxury goods in the world.

If there are clients, the next time the price can jump to 100 000 000 RMB and again someone will buy it. If no one buy this things they can be very cheap, but...
It is the same if you are selling apples on the street. If you met enough people who will pay 50 RMB for one apple (in fact some foreigners are buying like this), then you will make it 60, 70, 80 RMB...And when they stop buy, you have to low he price...So, this is one of the ways to control inflation - if no one buy something soon it will be:

-10% discount
-20% discount
-Buy one, get one free (50% discount)
etc.

Sanya, what you have said can be explained by an economical theory--the Supply and Demand Principle. The balanced market price is decided both the Supply Curve and Demand Curve. The Supply Curve is upward with the rise of price, while the Demand Curve is downward with the rising price. Provided the S curve is fixed, if the number of buyers increases, the D curve will rise, which will raise the crossing point of the two curves and cause the rise of price. On the contrary, the price will lower.
