![]() | On April 17th, AFC (Asian Football Confederation) announced the 2006 AFC Player of the Year nomination list. Four footballers from Saudi Arabia and Iraq are nominated. No footballer from China, Japan and South Korea is nominated. What a pity. The ten nominators: 1. Khalfan Ibrahim (Qatar and Al Sadd) 2. Badr Al Mutwa (Kuwait and Al Qadsiya) 3.
