In recent years, more and more overseas chinese go back to China to find their "roots" and worship their ancestors. On April 5th, a grand ceremony was held in Hongtong County in Shanxi Province. There is a big Chinese Scholartree (槐树). People came here to commemorate their ancestors. On the same day, the Ceremony for Offering a Sacrifice to Yellow Emperor was held in Huangling County in Shaanxi Province. About 10,000 overseas chinese went there to worship their ancestors. On 20th, April, another grand ceremony will be held in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province to worship Dayu, also the ancestor of Chinese as well as a hero in water control in ancient times. He was buried on Kuaiji Mountain in Shaoxing.
Some people say that it is a good way to unite the overseas chinese and make more people know about Chinese traditional culture. Others argue that there are so many ceremonies to worship our ancestors and most of them are motivated by the economic interests and for other purposes. The original idea has been twisted.
My friends, how do you think of this phenomenon? Is it good or bad?

The intention of holding these kinds of ceremonies ia good. However, some of the hosts are attracted by interests. That is not proper.
