The 25-meter long city bus unveils in Beijing

On April 18th, a 25-meter long 'bullet' city bus was exhibited in Beijing Exhibition Museum. It can accommodate 230 people. This city bus is made by Yutong Company in Zhengzhou.

On April 13th, The Busworld Asia 2007 Exhibition was held in Shanghai. Another huge city bus was unveiled on the exhibition. It is said that Shanghai will built its BTR (Bus Rapid Transit) route. However, it needs the support of the government because the bus is very expensive. the price is between 1,200,000 yuan and 20,000,000 yuan.

Yes, and the affiliated facities must be better equipped and arranged, such as the roads, platforms for waiting the bus etc.

If everything is considered, I think sitting in the bus must be very comfortable for the expansive room, at least better than the two-story buses.

I can't understand why so huge bus become a neccesity? Many long buses have nearly been weeded out. We seldomm see long buses that are too big to wag in bg cities. Why do we produce such buses now? I can't imagine why. Is it a progress or a retrogression?
