| The air flight booking here appears good and reasonably stable. Questions: *** How much PRE-booking time must I allow? Could I reliably book a flight the day before I want to leave? *** How much more ... or less ... would it cost me to book directly with the airline once on the ground in China? I see most flights averaging $125 USD (plus fee) between say Guangzhou and Guiyang...or Guiyang and Chendu (give or take a bit) +++ the booking fee..... It seems reasonable unless direct booking is substantially less expensive... This community site has been invaluable to me, so a few USD in cost is worth the value.... ...and will this site work within China...or will I need a different URL? Advice??? I only have three weeks...so a problem could really be a $$$PROBLEM$$$ not just a challenge. TIA...... |

| Hi Griz, I've changed the title to TCG. Hope it is ok. About your questions: *** How much PRE-booking time must I allow? Could I reliably book a flight the day before I want to leave? Yes, you can book a flight one day earlier before you leave, but we are not sure there are seats available. *** How much more ... or less ... would it cost me to book directly with the airline once on the ground in China? There is no service charge to book with the airline directly. But we can not guarantee the seats available. I see most flights averaging $125 USD (plus fee) between say Guangzhou and Guiyang...or Guiyang and Chendu (give or take a bit) +++ the booking fee..... It seems reasonable unless direct booking is substantially less expensive... This community site has been invaluable to me, so a few USD in cost is worth the value.......and will this site work within China...or will I need a different URL? Travelchinaguide.com flight data is based on China airline source and updating daily. The lowest airfare can not be guaranteed till the tickets are issued. If you are interested in booking the flights within China, please visit the following page and submit us your flight booking request. We will reply you with a reasonable price as soon as possible. http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-flights/ Hope it helps! Christine |
