Taking the job-hunting as an example, it is easier for men to find a high-paying job while most companies refuse to recruit women employees in a direct way. On the other hand, when women choose a husband, they along with their family members usually require too much: his family must be rich--at least possessing a house and a ca and he himself should have a high-paying job. But for the man’s family, they seldom care much about whether the girl’s family is rich, or whether she is well-paid. What I want to say is that it seems that the whole society demands more and offers more for men, while women are put at a inferior status. Generally speaking, men are indeed physically stronger than women, but does it mean they are superior to women?

It is individual. For example some females driving "Merzedes" and "Toyota", but some males are sleeping in a dormitory and even haven't enugh money to use the public transport.
And about the job. Why some males are working just for 800 RMB hard, dirty job. And in the same time some ladies are translators, guides, business-ladies, etc. and their salary is from 3500 to 10 000 + RMB ?
So, everything is individual. If your parents are very rich and if you are smart, it is doesn't matter if between your legs you have a *** or a vagina. YOU WILL be rich. And if your parents are not rich and you are a loser, then it doesn't matter if you are male, female or hermaphrodite. You will be poor.
The sex ( M/F/OTHER) is just a good excuse for something.
About the professions - yes, we still have soe difficulties. If you are a woman probably you will not working as a common worker building houses. And if you are a man, probably you will be not working as a "xiaojie"...By the way - the last one I am not sure can we classify as a "profession"...

Yes, that is the current situation in China.However, there always exist some exceptions. Some peole who do not have rich parents can also make success though it is very hard. They pay a lot for this. Those people are the good examples for the poor who have not a good family background.
