counting the days - think march / april would be best months and hope we have the best tour available - what is the best group in your opinion.? we are from Australia.
we are about to book on a 24 day tour and want to see as much as possible including the river cruise.

yep its me and my wife's best girl friend - hope she is a good girl

Well, ofcourse, since this is the Travel China Guide site we will say they have the best tour and it does sound like they have great tours. It also depends on what kind of tours you are seeking. Budget, luxury, active, specialty and so forth. Here are some other companies with good tours:

Chinaspree at chinaspree.com has a lot of good feedback. Imperial Tours at www.imperialtours.net and Abercrombie and Kent--great for luxury travel. Orient Flexipax at Orientflexipax.com have a variety of short and longer tours and can also customize your tour. Gap Adventures at gapadventures.com is good for active travel but also check out infohub for all kinds of specialty travel, from birding and culinary to archeology and spiritual. Here is one for qui gong and taoist workshops--www.eternalspringtours.com.
