On April 21th, an offical of British Army said they found 70 million dollars in a villa of Saddam located at the bank of Tigris River. All of the cash is placed in 35 iron boxes. The money will be turned to the central bank of Iraq. This is the fourth time the British soldiers found such a great amount of cash. He said that the money are often found at the palaces or villas near the Tigris River. It is said that Saddam's two sons withdrawed about 800 million dollars form the central bank of Iraq before the Bagdad was occuppied. However, they could not bring all the money abroad so that they hid it in different places. The British and American soldiers have found at least 550 million dollars. Before the Gulf War, one of the official in Iraq estimated that Saddam owned at least 10 billion dollars.
After the death of Saddam and two sons, many Iraqis start to find the money. Those "explorers" said that Saddam's son Uday killed all the relevent staff after hiding the money. Possiblly, all the money and treasures are buried in the desert in Iraq.
