On April 26th, 2008 Beijing Olympic Games Torch was unveiled in Beijing. The torch is 72 centermeters long and has a weight of 985 grams, created by the designers at Chinese PC giant Lenovo. It is inspired by the luck cloud and scroll.
It is said that the torch will be passed in the five continents and be carried to the the peak of Mt. Qomolangma. That is a real challenge.

What Jimmy said about the route of torch relay points to the main torch. The torch used in the Mt. Everest is a seperated torch, which looks like the main torch, but with special buring set inside to adapt to the peak. It will then be sent to Lhasa and later converges with the main torch.
