American fossil research shows that chicken has evolved from carnassial dinosaur

Researchers of American North Carolina State University recently found that protein distilled from fossil bones of tyrannosaurus was similar to that of the chicken's in the structure.
The bone fossils date back to 68 million years ago. Experts said that this would further testify the evolutionary relationship between birds and dinosaurs.
