In order to ease the counter business, some bank insiders in Chongqing say that the upper limit of the drawing amount are likely to reach ten thousand RMB. CCB, ICBC and BC have raised the upper limit of drawing amount.

Drawing amount of RMB is not that important, I think. Most of the people line up in the banks are seniors who are afraid of using ATMs, Net banks, phone banks, etc. Only by solving their problems can reduce the numbers of liners in the banks.

Yes, I agree. It takes a long time to overcome this.. even in the west which places high fees on over the counter transactions
