 | Lots of news in China try their best to show us that Zhang Ziyi, a native Beijing girl, is already a world famous movie star representing modern China. Hate ontroversy clamours all over the internet world. But what is the truth? Is she already that famous? Is she really popular in Hollywood and Euro? Is she really a positive representation of China?? Any comments?  |

| Originally, I like her. But now I don't. How to say it, she has changed a lot and I do not like those changes on her. |

| I dont think Zhang Ziyi or Gong Li are popular in UK, most people I speak to prefer English or American women. Myself I like Gong Li, she seems to be better actress from what I have seen. |

| I like neither of them personally but I have to say their early works are decent enough, especially Gong Li, but the later stuff was just crass--crappy plot/costume and/or performance, and going Hollywood is just a mistake. and not to mention their bloated egos. Representation of China? Hardly. More like a publicity stunt. |
