Are you a hero? Who are heroes in modern society?

Some net citizens comment that modern society is a period without heroes. An online survey shows that 90% people do not think we live in a time with no heroes. Among them 80% hold the idea that ordinary people could be heroes. Over 60% believe that they themselves can become heroes.
About 60% were under the age of 35, and more than half of them answered that Chairman Mao was the hero in their hearts when being asked whose name represented the word 'hero'.
Then what kind of person can be regarded as a hero in modern society?

Everybody can be a hero at this society. Maybe we are all potentially a hero, only that sometimes the chance doesn't come. :)))
