GUESTBELAL Hi, my partner and I are tarevlling to China during winter (Dec/Jan). Did you travel by train when you were there? Was it cold on the trains or was there heating/heavy blankets? We're wondering whether we need to bring a sleeping bag just in case thanks.Viv

You think too much. The heating system is equipped on the trains. You needn't bring a sleeping bag. However, I suggest you bring some thick clothes. It's cold outside but warm in the train. If you don't wear clothes properly, you might get cold due to the temperature difference.
