Detian waterfalls from Hanoi

I am planning a trip end-June from Hanoi by train to the border town of Pingxiang, and onwards by bus to Daxin and Detian waterfalls.

My intention is to take landscape photos of the waterfalls.

My first trip there so any advice would be appreciated. Where to stay/eat, pitfalls to avoid etc.

There are hostels near the waterfall, but the rooms are limitied. The nearby Shuolong Town also has guesthouses but the room conditions are not so good. You'd better book a room in Daxin County.

For the food, there are many outdoor stalls selling the special fruit, local appetizers. You may have a try. : )

Thank you for the information. How far is Daxin to the waterfall? Is it safe to camp near the waterfall?
