Anybody interested in staying at Chungking Mansions (Kowloon, Hong Kong) in July?

I'm planning to stay at Chongking Mansions (where HK director Wong Kar-Wai shot Chungking Express) for some nights. Wanna grab a companion.

I've long heard of its budget rooms and authentic curry. And it was elected as the Best Example of Globalization in Action in TIME Magazine's annual feature.

Anybody interested?

As no-one has replied maybe you could add the dates u intend tobe there and what u consider as budget.

well, that'll be some 3 or 4 nights from middle to the end of july, no more than 100 HKD per night

That's not a bad price for HK...and that's also likely to have to go to HK (or somewhere) about that time for visa reasons.

Where are you going from?
How early must bookings be made?

I reckon by mid-July you could have quite a crowd!

We are in HK for the last week of July too, if you do end up there then Paul we shall all have to meet up for a drink then you can tell us all about Shijiazhuang before we leave for there lol
