China has four most beautiful ladies in the history. Have ever heard of Chen Yu, Luo Yan, Bi Yue and Xiu Hua? It means the beauty can make fish sink in water, wide goose fall onto ground, moon hide its face and flowers feel ashamed.

Xi Shi in Spring and Autumn Period (770BC-476BC). When she was washing voile beside the water, a fish were so surprised by her beauty that it forgot swimming and then fell into the bottom of the river.

Diao Chan in The Three Kingdoms Period (220-280). She was admiring floweres under the moonlight when a piece of cloud covered the moon. Maybe the moon envied her beauty!!

Yang Yuhuan in Tang Dynasty(618-907). She was the most favored concubine of Emperor Li Longji. When she was playing in the garden, the mimosas (a sensitive flower) feld their leaves. Maybe the flowers were too ashamed of their own appearance by comparing with Lady Yang. : = D
