How do I get to Fangcheng from HK?

Hi,

I'm planning a visit to HK in Mar-2005. From there I was considering a trip to Fangcheng to visit my ancestral home. What's the best way to get there. I will have my wife and daughter (will be 1 yr old by then) with me so would prefer the quickest way by plane I guess.

I don't whether there has derry from Hong Kong to Fangcheng though Fangcheng is a large and important port og Guangxi Province. So I think you can take ferry to Wuzhou from Hong Kong, and then take long distance bus to Fangcheng.
Or take flight to Nanning, because Nanning is much more near to Fangcheng than Wuzhou and Guilin. Then take bus to Fangcheng.
