When we travel to Xian in June we are thinking of venturing out west from the town for 3-4 days. As time is short we don't have time to go out to Lanzhou.

We were thinking of Moon Canyon which seems good for daywalks. Has anyone been there and if so was it worth the effort getting there?

Does anyone have any other spots that they have visited west of Xian that they would like to suggest?

Thanks
