A life vest of 60 thousand pounds!!

Hi all,

I read the news saying that a life vest of Titanic's survival was bought with 60 thousand pounds (about 119 thousand dollars) in an auction!!

I quite can't understand the buyer. So much money to buy a life vest! Yes it is an important memory of that shocking history, but is it worthy????

What's your opinions??

Hello Evening,

I'm happy for the buyer -- that he/she can afford such an amount. The buyer apparently has a special interest in the Titanic disaster.

I'm hoping that the buyer also contributes to helping the poor, and perhaps provides financial aid to those worthy "kids" who don't have the money to pursue a higher education.
