Hi, I'll be traveling to Beijing in June and it's my first time visiting China. Are there any special adapters needed to recharge an Ipod or digital camera?

I had no problems with my photographic equipment, just need 2 pin adaptor or use shaver sockets like I did.

Depends if u are from US etc with 110volt... China is 230. Adaptor boards allow u to use most plug types...or you simply bend them to fit!!!

There are some markets to buy cheap adapters , electronic products in Beijing..very cheap

You can buy adapters all over Beijing. You might consider buying the various USB battery chargers.

A google search for battery extenders may be useful. Here is a link to an IPOD extender:
