Hong Kong to Kunming

Hiya,

I am travelling from Hong Kong to Kunming and dont really want to fly. Is it possible to go via train or bus? and how much would that likely cost?

Yes, you can. You may take the bus/train from HK to Guangzhou first, and then take a train to Kunming.

I will be doing same trip in september. fly into HK, train to Guangzhou,short trip to Guilin and then onto Kunming. train to Guangzhou costs roughly HK$ 150 and to Kunming train is about US$45 for hard sleeper and takes 25 hours
