At present, more and more western festivals are welcomed by Chinese people, such as Valentine’s Day, Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day. When Christmas Day is coming, the businessmen try to propagandize by all means. At Christmas Eve, young people go out and stroll on the street or take part in some activities.
Any comments on this kind of phenomenon?

Young ppl are finding new ways to enjoy themselves. These new festivals do not require them to be with family.

Yes. But it seems that the original idea of holding those festivals has been changed. Anyway, it is a good way to entertainment themselves.

It seemed that we have discussed this throughly in some other threads. For me, western festival is just like a holiday to enjoy and relax. Yes, a lot of Chinese people don't know the true meaning of Christmas. But who cares? We just want to find a excuse to relax ourselves.
