The price of pork rises too much after the Golden Week. According to a survey, the trade price of the pork in 36 cities has reached 14.5 per kilogram. Compared with the same time of last year, it rises about 4.4 yuan. In Shanghai, it reaches 16 yuan.
Maybe it is good not to eat pork.

Due to the high price of pork, the customers are less and less at the market in Jilin Province. And some of the boothes have been closed.

Decades of years ago, many people didn't have enough to eat. A man in my village borrowed 10 yuan from friends and bought some pork. After enjoying it, he hanged himself. He was unale to pay the money back.

Well, it has something to do with the appreciation of RMB. Do not worry. The government said that the reserve of pork will be offered to ease the pork market.when the situation is emergent.

Supply and demand...for good or for bad, that is what we will see in China from now on. If the price of pork is rising we can expect to see more farmers switch from other activities to farming pigs in the hope of making better profits. Then the price will begin to fall until it is not worth starting up a pig farm or increasing your pig herd.

At the same time, consumers will buy less pork and that will tend to reduce the price of pork.

Overall a new balance or equilibrum will be established. There may be many things wrong with a full blown market economy, but it is fact that this priice mechanism works.
