| Are government workers required to belong to the Communist Party? I know in the United States, being a Democrat or a Republican makes it easier/more likely that you will get a job when your party is in power. I wondered how that worked in China. ??? |

| Government workers arn't required to belong to the Communist Party in China. But it's better to be a communist memeber if one works in government departments. |
