On wednesday evening, a NATO CH-47 was shot down in Afghanitan. A crew of five and two military passengers were killed in the crash.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack. Initial reports indicated that the Chinook was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade, but the thorough invistigation is still underway.

NATO said there were no survivor in the accident, and the relief troops were ambushed by the militants.

Sad to hear this, too.

I left the U.S.A. to protest my government's actions in Afghanistan and Iraq. You wouldn't catch me there dead and I'll sure as he** never go there while I'm alive.
