The meeting mainly focuses on the topics of service, investment and transparency, energy and environment, growth balance and innovation. Both China and US have reached consensus a series of issues. In financial area, before SED III, China will announce to gradually expand the business scope ofqualified joint-venture securities companies to allow them to be engaged in securities brokerages. Qualified foreign banks are allowed to issue RMB bank cards and enjoy the same treatment with Chinese banks. On US side, he confirms that any application by a Chinese bank to establish branches in the United States will be considered consistent with the principle of national treatment, and commits to regulatory personnel exchanges.
