My grandaughter is leaving for Beijing soon, with a martial arts group. She was asked to bring a few small gifts. What would be good?

I've moved your post in this Culture Zone board and think this is the perfect place for you to get some information. Personally, I think the gifts should be something special from your homeland. That would be nice for Chinese.

you may consider givng her a copy of "the tao te ching" perhaps even some books on qi-gong.

Perhaps even better: A man by the name of Eckhart Tolle wrote a great book called "A new Earth"
