At the foot of Tianshan Mountain, there is a special frontier post. Inside live a couple. Their task is to patrol the shooting range of a regiment.

Everyday they will walk about 20 kilimeters to finish patroling no matter the soldiers come or not. The only companion is the two dogs. Their life is monotonous. They have a small black and white TV. Water here is precious and is supplied at regular intervals.

Life here is full of hardships, but they never feel depressed because love is between them.
