Flood Disaster is happening in Southern China

Nearly every year in Summer, Southern China will be tortured by terrible flood disaster. The flood also brings on mud-rock flow and landslide. Until now, 8,970,000 people have been attacked, among whom 66 died. The economic lost is as much as 2.94 billion RMB.

So sad about the enviroment! The disater is to some extent worsened by less and less trees on mountains.

What we have done to nature will be given back by nature! Sad!!

Really high time to protect the enviroment!

Hello Sunnydream,

Yes, I think about how terrible this is for the people and the suffering they must endure. China is a strong Country. In time, China will complete many projects like the Three Gorges project that will tame these terrible floods and flooding.

Then, China will also benefit from all the hydro-electric power that will be generated from the dams that are built along the largest rivers. Hopefully then, the people will no longer have to suffer as they do now.
