doing my first trip to china on 23 june i would like to live with my girlfriend at her home for 2 weeks, she is widowed like me will there be problems
for us as to the law in china,
she lives in changsha so any travel tips for his city would be appreciated

Technivally it is not permitted to stay in private homes. However this regulation is seldom if ever an issue as the authorities are generally reactive rather than proactive. If she has any neighbour wars, a neighbour could complain, I suppose and then the police would probabaly have to look into it. If you stay with her the neighbours are likely to gossip. If you do not continue the relationship she may be in a difficult position with neighbours - more than we can inderstand. I found it VERY difficult to exit such a situation in my first week in China!!

It's not a problem if you live in a up-graded city.
changsha I did not visit, so can't say, how you will pass your time. Alternatives, stay hotel at night.

we intend to sightsee most of the time so we my only stay at her home 2 or 3 days all depends on how we feel

I only intend to stay at her home for 2 or 3 days then maybe travel around

Error on the side of caution and do not put the woman's reputation in jeopardy. No matter how good your intentions, you are not married until you are married. Be on your good behavior; if she has other ideas then she made the call.
