10th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Today, Chongqing, whose name means 'double celebration' is celebrating the 10th Anniversary as a special Municipality under direct control of the Central government.

What a transformation has occured here during the past ten years. For those of you have visited recently will have witnessed this. Developement continues at a shocking speed and steady pace all around us and it's hard to imagine what this ancient river port will look like in another 10 years.
