| trying from australia to book return air flight to China. was wanting to enter China via Beijing and depart from Hong Kong but unable to do so . would prefer Cathay Pacific but they dont even answer emails . any clue in this area thanks regards peter |

| that shouldn't be a problem to buy an air ticket of that routing that allows ground transportation in between, on a same airline (even with different airlines that's a price issue) have you tried the online booking of Cathay Pacific (www.cathaypacific.com), at least to check schedule and seat availability? Travel agencies should be able to offer better fares |

| Why not give Flight Centre a go. I've been getting my tickets through them for the past four years. You should be able to 'Open Jaw' but you could try Guangzhou as your departure port. |

| I was not able to do this...because it was a low price ticket. I think this is the ultimate issue. |

| I had no problem scheduling a flight that arrived in Shanghai and departed in Beijing. I had my travel agent run the price of arriving/departing in Shanghai and it was a small difference (20$USD). I am flying Northwest. |
