| Hello, Almost all who travel to China arrive in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, or Hong Kong - right? From southeast Asia, many airlines fly directly to Kunming, which is a great place to start tours of wonderful Yunnan province (I like pu'er tea! - 我喜欢普洱茶!). Did I say it correctly? From Kunming, you are less than one hour by air to great cities and towns like Lijiang (my favorite) Dali and others. A bit longer and you are seeing the panda bears in Chengdu! 理查 Rick |

| Hello Evening, Wo2 Xi2 Huan1 Pu3 Er3 Cha2 我喜欢普洱茶! Is it proper grammar to have two 3rd tones in a row (pu3 er3) when you pronounce the word? Does pu3 then become 2nd tone when you pronounce and er3 remains 3rd tone? 谢谢!. 理查 Rick |

| Rick, Having lived in 4 provinces over the last year-and-a-half, Kunming is , by far, the most civilized and reasonable place to begin a tour in China. There is so much to see and do there alone, you can enjoy 3-6 months just learning about China there. __WINDENERGY__ |

| I am just back from Li jiang & spent 12 days travel in Yunnan province. Expect more friends can go there as backpackers to experience different culture and history for the cities. Susan Zheng ( China Tour guide) MSN: hotmail.com|Susan205060 |
