This is the special dish in Cangzhou, Hebei Province.

This is a sweet soup in Guangdong.
Lian Zi is lotus seeds meaning child, Bai He is lily symbolizing long last love forever!
It is particularly for new marriaged couple, praying for forever love and healthy children.

A famous dish in norheast China.

Apple slices are fried in hot sugar syrup. The slices then can not be cut off unless put in cool water.

First step of love is just like the fried apple slices that are deeply attached to each other. Cool water is just like some wit that make the passionate love become more realistic.

This is a kind of pancake made of wheat or corn flour.

In Xinjiang Province, wives will prepare many pancake for their husbands who are going out for a long time. The cakes are ordinary but quite useful when the husbands are hungry especially in sand area.

Very primitive but touching love, isn't it?

No.7. Guo4 Qiao2 Mi3 Xian4 （过桥米线）
Very famous local snack in Yunnan Province.

过桥米线 is created by a virtuous wife. To give his husband a bowl of warm rice noodle, she covered the soup with heavy hot oil, put rice noodle and meat slices in another bowl. She walked long distance to his working husband. Before he ate, she put the rice noodle and meat in the soup that was still as hot as before.

过桥米线 is a kind of inner happiness between wife and husband.

No.8. Lian 4 Ai4 Dou 4 Fu 3 (恋爱豆腐)
It is a street food in Guizhou. Fermented Toufou is fried in oil and then stringed with a short bamboo prod. They are very cheap but delicious.

Many lovers are usually fond of this food. They can eat together by the street, to show every pass-by their love for each other.... : )
