| Comment: 1- In Shanghai, I suggest you didn't stay in city center , you also can visit Zhujiajiao Water and village (Chinese Character) which is one hour bus away from city center. 2- Hangzhou -- there is a new Xixi park (nature scenery) which released to public last year, some guys tell me it is beautiful , you can try. Even many local people didn't visit it yet. Yours sincerely, Susan Zheng ( China Tour Guide) MSN: hotmail.com|Susan205060 |

| Itinerary is ok. One tip for Hua Shan: things you should bring when climbing the mountain: a pair of gloves, a map, sufficient food and water. Gloves and map can be brought at the entrance. 2Yuan for gloves and 2 for map. |

| brought=bought You'd better buy sufficient food in a supermarket in downtown area. As soon as you arrive the village where Huashan locate, things there will be very expensive except gloves and map :) |

| My experience of China is that things do not run as smoothly as you would like. You may not get around at that pace. Also the days get very hot and humid. You might like to identify the least essential items that you can cut.... two lists, one within a day, the second whole days that can be cut. How will you get to Shaolin...from Dengfeng...closest or Liaoyang (I am sure that is wrong but cannot remember!). I posted some comments recently. I would not bother with Shaolin unless you are really into the MA's There's no way I would plan an itinery like that for China, it's not that sort of country. However, I look forward to you telling me that I was wrong. PLEASE let us all know when you get back - and have recovered! |
