How to get from Lijiang to Chengdu

Hi everybody,
I am lokking for the best and cheapest way to get from Lijiang to Chengdu. Can anybody tell me if there is a train or a bus from Lijiang to Chengdu?

Take the Bus to Panzhihua (8/10hours) from there you get the train to Chengdu It's a great trip Can;t remember what the bus cost but less than Y100 and you can check train detials using the link on the site here

I just finish my backpackers experience in Li Jiang in Jun' 07.

We suggest you can take the bus to Chengdu from long-distance bus station .Many of my friends who go to Chengdu via the bus. It seems little easy instead of transit through some city.

Lijiang doesn't even have a train station.
If you're in a hurry, I would advise you to fly.
