Hi, RUEDIGER.i think diving is not very popuar in china.there are three reasons to explain it.
1---diving is a good sports events, and of course everyone knows it is also a expensive sport, isn't it?
2---Not everyone can adapt the pressure under the water~~~
3---people's psychology factor.someone is afraid of darkness; someone fears the odd fish, and others like them.

maybe several years later, diving will be the biggest and most popular sport in china.

Hong Kong and Hainan are the main diving regions in China. And I think the city or place near the coast and sea all should have diving training institute ans some activities.

I found Hong Kong, hope can help you.

Hi FRANKENSTEIN ,
you self are the best example. You have tested diving and then you are happy.
The people need the knowledge , that under water are much fine things waiting for them.In german we said NEUGIER .All the other is a thing for the instructor - he must be good !!!
I have in my divingscool in the last five years 300 divers teached to OPEN WATER DIVER .Now we begin to teach on rebreathers.

Go your way - the future is yours .

I am 47 years old - but diving is my life , my hobby and my church.

Greatings from germany

I wish you all times a little bit air in your tank !!!!

the water temperature would be about 28C in dec. visibility max. 6 to 10m ,dive in hainan is safey, most of divesites are shallow dive with little current. but don't expect many coral and fish there.

diveshop sunk boat and plane as man-made reef.at least it is a right way to attract fish.
