what does "sexy" really mean?

GUESTSHUNICE i think sexy is another word for beautiful or cute or gorgoues.... I dont use sexy as having sex because i dont think that it should be used in that way. But some people just take it to seriously i think sexy is showing confident in yourself instead not having confident in yourself you should think that you are sexy i mean it is not a bad word to say or have it as an email mail address but you know some people put it in the wrong way. Ii think i am sexy i am not going to let people just run over me and tell me that i am not cute or beautiful I know that i can use cute or beautiful instead of sexy i mean i dont have a problem when i boy call me sexy that just put in my mind that i am cute... well that is all for today

So I am curious what that really means..We have been dating for 2 1/2 years.. I am 40 yrs old, don't consider myself to be sexy...ANY suggestions what he might mean?

beddroom eyes? I don't understand this. Well, it is hard for a person to see through himself/herself. Your BF might have found something good in you, that hasn't been found by yourself.

'Sexy' is in the eye of the beholder.
To one person a woman may be the sexiest thing on this earth, to another, the ugliest most unappealing woman ever seen.

Ditto for men.

I agree with SG2B, but on her attitude and confidence assessment. You dont have to have a slim body and the right curves to be sexy.
Attitude, personality, confidence and proper manners, makes for an attractive person. Not outward adornment.
There should be limitations on using the word SEXY especially around people that you just met. Not a good idea and women especially will get the wrong idea about you even if your intentions are good. Most women see it as a "Pick up word" to try to get them in bed. As close as I am to some of my female co-workers, I still would not use a word like that to tell them how nice they look or how attractive they are. Western females see it differently and as a derogatory statement. Not all of them though!! Know the person first and you will know your limitations. LB

Larry is right. You may say she is beautiful(她真漂亮). But don't say she is sexy. Otherwise, she might think that you wann sleep with her.
