Hi I don't really like post links in discussion forum, but i think that this one is particulary useful and relevant to this thread:

This is a dictionary site that convert English, Pinyin and Chinese. It even pronounces the Chinese word aloud and properly.

So type in any Chinese city Name, and it should show you the Chinese symbols and pronounce it for you.
